SMI was contracted to provide 6 young, athletic, diverse and energetic ambassadors to target the major foot traffic and running areas of Boston during the Boston Marathon. The project duration spanned 3 days and 96 total staff hours.  SMI provided target locations, detailed street team routes and nightly photo recaps to our agency client.  SMI also provided a former Division I Track Athlete as the local market manager to meet with the local NIKE team and our client contact.  SMI exceeded their event goals of 15,000 marketing pieces distributed and accomplished the primary goal of driving 20% and over 3,000 consumers back to the NIKETOWN location.
