SMI was engaged to provide a group of 47 bi-lingual, technology-savvy and sports-oriented ambassadors during Chicago’s popular Fiesta de Sol weekend.  Together with an inflatable arena and interactive set of games, the event was designed to deliver the ultimate sports experience and reinforce ESPN Deportes’ growing popularity within the Latino culture.  6 mobile ambassadors roamed the festival and drove traffic back to the booth. Thousands of consumers were greeted and gifted by the team, had their information and consumer preferences registered, and experienced the brand to the max.

SMI was contracted to staff the Chicago product launch of Chocolate Chex cereal by 25 ambassadors for 2 days and covering the key pedestrian areas of Chicago.  A total of 50,000 samples were picked-up, delivered and distributed by the SMI team with temperatures around 95 degrees both days.

SMI was contracted to provide energetic, independent and sales-focused ambassadors in four major markets: Boston, MA; Ft. Myers, FL; San Francisco, CA; Providence, RI.  The project duration spanned 14 weeks with 37 contractors working across markets and supporting 150 individual franchise locations.  Route logistics, marketing material distribution, ambassador training, individual franchise-owner communication and daily reporting were all managed by SMI in conjunction with TBA.

SMI launched and managed all 4 markets in a timely manner.  Our street teams successfully marketed Quiznos’ lunch delivery program to over 125,000 businesses and drove an increase in delivery orders placed.

The Dove Pro-Age casting requirement called for females appearing to be between 45 and 60 years old, natural beauty, well spoken, with the ability to communicate product information eloquently and encourage cross-category purchase.

SMI was engaged to provide 29 young, diverse and vibrant brand ambassadors for New Year’s Eve Night 2009 in downtown Chicago.  They covered a variety of roles from model-talent VIP hostesses to ticketing.  SMI worked closely with our agency partner from the onset to provide event and staffing direction.  We also handled the local task of sourcing a capable security company to secure the event.  In total, almost 1000 consumers were welcomed and reached.
